During that time:

• We helped our tribal clients build or rehabilitate over 3,500 houses.
• We have brought $42 million in economic development funds to Indian Country.
• We brought over $350 Million in private equity capital to Indian Country – funds for decent, safe and affordable housing that our clients do not have to pay back.
• At the national level, we lobbied to amend the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program so that NAHASDA funds can be used seamlessly with Section 42.
• At the state level, we worked with Arizona to create the nation’s largest tax credit set-aside specifically for Indian tribes, a set-aside that has been increased every year for the past three years.
• We successfully lobbied the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency to set aside not less than 10% of its tax credits for tribal projects.
• We successfully adapted the tax credit program for use by tribal colleges to house non-traditional students.
